Spartan race entry giveaway

I was given a race entry for a giveaway, but was not compensated for my post. All opinions are strictly my own.

Hey I have a FABULOUS  giveaway for you readers, living in France. Here is your chance to win an entry to the Spartan Super race on Oct. 12 at the Paul Ricard field in Le Castellet, France.

Not familiar with Spartan races ?

Spartan is a series of obstacle course races. The first French event was last year in Le Castellet, with a new city this year, Paris. The Paris Spart was this past weekend and there are three more Spartans in October, each with a different distance and a varied number of obstacles. You can participate individually or as a team. Spartan has started to expand globally and there are even World Championships.

There are several different races, depending on your level :

  1. Spartan Sprint : 5+ km and 15 obstacles
  2. Spartan Super : 13+km and 21 obstacles
  3. Spartan Beast : 20+ km and 26 obstacles

I have yet to try an obstacle course but I am soooooo tempted ! Here is why I think it would be great to do :

  • Fun ! Running, jumping, overcoming obstacles….
  • Challenging : pushing your limits
  • Something new. As much as I love racing, adding spice is always fun

Here’s how :  just leave a message on why you’d like to do this race before Monday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. French time and I will pick a winner at random that evening.

Aroo !

I have some friends doing the Sacramento Spartan Super and I think it’d be fun to join them!

I have watched the Spartan race specials on NBC Sports TV and they looks like a really challenging yet fun race series. I would love to be able to participate in one later this year. thanks.

Totally out of my comfort zone. 2014 is the year I resolved to do things I wouldn’t normally do. This fits the bill.
