I am linking up with Marcia at Marcia’s Healthy Slice for the first Runfession of 2016 and since the Friday Five theme is of my choice this week, I also am linking up with Courtney at Eat Pray Run, Cynthia at You Signed Up for What, and Mar at Mar on the Run.
As much as I love running there are things that irk me immensely. So here it is, getting it all off my chest :
- Running pants that bag around the ankles. I am short and I have skinny legs but a thicker waist, so I usually get a size medium pants. They fit perfectly in the waist but tend to bag by the end of a run.
2. My gps watch that refuses to pick up a signal. I will wait up to 2 minutes, but beyond that, I don’t have the patience. I have found a corner where it will pick up the signal 9 times out of 10, but its not fool proof. I usually wear my fitbit, just in case, which allows me to judge distance.

3. Watering eyes. I get this from my dad… as soon as there is the slightest wind or it is a bit cold, my right eye will run (pun intended) the whole time.
4. Foggy or wet glasses.
5. Socks. I have yet to find a running sock AFTER 10 YEARS that I love. I am currently wearing Feetures but now that I have washed them a couple times they are tight, they pull at my toenails and the part around my Achilles can be bothersome. They are great when they are new but 6 months later ? I am ready to throw them out. Maybe I need a bigger size ?
And if I have a run when it is cold and rainy, which means I can not see, my eyes are watering and my pants are heavy with water around my ankles ? Yeah, that pretty much sums up the worst.run.ever.
Can you make a sock recommendation for me ?
