The end of the year is always a challenge for me… lots of parties, family get togethers and lots of this :
However ! I have started training for the Paris Marathon 2016, and I am feeling really good. I am feeling strong, motivated, healthy, happy and focused. So I don’t want the holidays to derail me (too much), which is why a holiday challenge sounded great.
I think it will also be a great way to (virtually) meet new people, be sourrounded by positive vibes and generally keep me on track and accountable to myself.
There is an activity or prompt each day. This week we had to set a goal for the number of physical activity minutes, post a favorite piece of gear, and today take our workout outside.
- 300 minutes is my time goal this week (since I am alone in a hotel in the US, and the gym is a 30 second walk down the hall, this will not be hard)
- my favorite piece of gear I am currently loving is this Athleta jacket :
- Finally, no workout outside today. I am in a strange area, so I will stick to the gym !Let’s say that running outside ealy Monday morning, before flying to the US, will be my proxy for today !
