I travelled last week for work, so didn’t get as much exercise as I would have liked, or usually do. Travelling also throws my digestion off… so happy to get back into the swing as of Friday and made up for the off week during the weekend, especially with some of my favorite fall foods.
A short recap :
- Monday to Thursday : no exercise. Between PTA on Monday, travelling for work on Tuesday and Wednesday, I needed sleep on Thursday !
- Friday : 45 minutes aquagym
- Saturday : 9 km run. Still very nice fall weather
- Sunday : 30 minute power walk (it was 60 degrees out, look at the sunny day !) + 30 minutes at the gym, mainly weights
Food : The weekend was pretty low key, but I did get to the market and cooked quite a bit.

Made a big batch of apple crisp (again !) and this time I added chopped pecans.

We are keeping my sister in law’s cat for 2 months (above). Our cat (below) is eating all his food. Look at that tummy ! It looks like he is hiding. Depressed ? Ashamed ? No, just fat and lazy.
