Food & fitness

With long weekends I have been able to get in a lot of exercise and do some cooking. Here is a look into last week’s exercise, and some random meals :

Last week’s fitness was filled with variety. I have my new orthodics and wanted to test them out but didn’t want to overdo  :

  • Monday / Tuesday : off
  • Wednesday : 45 minute treadmill workout + 15 minute weights for upper body. I got there early and the gym was empty !

  • Thursday : one hour run in the evening (the days are SOOO long ! it is light out until 9 p.m.)

  • Friday : weights / ab work at the gym +  25 minute walk
  • Saturday : off
  • Sunday : 75 minutes swimming laps at the pool + 75 minute power walk late afternoon with my husband. Great news ! I discovered the pool is going to open early on Wednesday mornings for the next 2 months.

Looking forward to another short week, as we are off Thursday and Friday of this coming week. Did you get to take advantage of the nice weather and exercise outside this past week ?
