Fall weekend food & fitness

Hello everyone, how is your week going ? It is fall in Paris. Even if it is sunny, the temps have cooled off and the days are getting shorter. Here is a quick recap of the weekend.

On Saturday morning, I decided to go to the gym where I lifted some weights and ran on the treadmill. Great workout but I was a sweaty mess. Not sure why I am not smiling, I felt great !

On Sunday rain was announced. Here is the view from my apartment. I waited until about 11 and it hadn’t rained yet, so I decided to venture out.

There are lots of chestnuts at the moment and you seriously have to be careful. There are so many in the area where I run that you can easily sprain an ankle, or get hit on the head.

I had a great run. I followed these 3 guys for a good distance, they were at exactly my pace (blurry because I was running).

Then, it rained. I HATE running in the rain. Luckily it did not last long.I ended up having a really good run.

I run beneath a lot of trees and have to watch out for falling branches on windy days. I’ve seen a large branch fall very close to me. The food looks delicious!

Indeed, need to be careful around trees. Never had a branch fall nearby but I definitely think it would hurt !
