I have seen these posts recently on several blogs, and thought you might enjoy a peak into a typical Saturday in France. Here goes :
5:38 a.m. : awake. Mind starts racing about everything I have and want to do this weekend. Start making mental lists.
6:30 a.m. Get up because I couldn’t fall back asleep.
6:45 a.m. Eat breakfast. Protein pancakes, coffee, half a banana.
7:00 a.m. Check social media, read the news on line. Work on blog posts. The morning is when I have most of my ideas.
7:20 a.m. Have second cup of coffee with daughter who is having her breakfast. Turn OFF the computer so we can talk.
8:00 a.m. Pay bills. Do laundry.
8:45 a.m. Beautiful fall morning. Decide to go running then to the gym because I will not be able to exercise Sunday. I felt great and ended up doing 13 km.
10:15 a.m. Stop at the gym for some weights and stretching. On the way home buy newspaper and a mango. It looked too yummy.
10:30 a.m. Sit on back balcony. Glorious morning. Have a yogurt, read the paper, do soduku. Shower. Finish laundry.
Noon. Prepare lunch. Tomato and mozzarella salad, ham roll ups.
12:40 p.m. Eat lunch outside with hubby and girls. Including half a mango.
1:45 p.m. Errands : stop at the bank, buy stamps, go to grocery store with husband. Perfect time to go, people are still eating lunch. Run into a friend.
3:00 p.m. Cook for the upcoming week. Cauli rice, crepes, birthday cake.
5:00 p.m. FaceTime with family in Africa for an hour.
6:00 p.m. Daughter’s friends arrive for sleep over.
8:00 p.m. Dinner and birthday cake.
8:45 p.m. Set up beds for sleep over.
9:30 p.m. retire to bedroom to read because kids are camped out in the living room.
11 p.m. Sleep.
What do you do on a typical Saturday ?
